I have been trying to install sp1 for about three weeks. My computer is a three year old Win7 Dell laptop. I have been to microsoft and downloaded everything they said I would need to install it. I have also searched forums and user groups to no avail. Nothing works. My wife has the same laptop and it installed sp1 when it was offered in updates. The update was never offered to me. I have it set to notify me but not install so I am able to see what is offered. So I need so good input as to what to do next. I am fairly computer literate but do not want to reinstall if I can help it.....
