Hi Guys,
I'd like to have my places where I "Save As" be in the "Save As Window" rather than Computer, Desktop, and so forth.
Is it possible to change?
I'll attach what I'm trying to describe.
If I remember correctly you can create a shortcut in C:\Users\yourusername\Links and it will apear in the left pane.
Terry I believe your screenshot was taken from a third party application? The standard methods may not work with some 3rd party applications anyway. Have a look at this freeware: http://foldermenu.sourceforge.net/

I want to be able to add/subtract locations to the left pane of an Explorer window. i.e. delete "Network"
I was under the impression that new locations could be added simply by dragging 'n dropping a folder into Favorites. Similarly, any folders can be deleted by right clicking on the folder in Favorites and selecting "Remove".
Or am I still on the wrong track mate?

You are spot on with drag & drop but no joy with W7.
Dave's suggestion was a no go also.
Don't understand that at all Terry. I just tried dragging and dropping 'My Documents' folder into favorites and it works fine (Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit).
What's happening (or not happening) when you try the drag 'n drop method? Are you trying it when in Windows Explorer?
A bit of a work-around that may work better than the original thought.
I opened the "Favorites" folder and inserted shortcuts to my most commonly used destinations (15).
Using this method I can insert shortcuts to a location that I will currently use for projects and once I have competed the job I can delete or not the shortcut.
