Not sure if this's been covered here, (probably) but, I don't have the option to "hibernate" on my start button. I saw the article here on how to access it on Win8, but all I'm able to choose from is sleep, restart or shutdown. It's as if hibernate has been removed, (it used to be there)! I'm running an HP Mini laptop w/Win7 Starter, on Chrome.Any ideas?
If hybernate isn't showing it may be turned off. You can enable it by following these instructions:
Click Start, and then type cmd in the Start Search box.
In the search results list, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as Administrator.
When you are prompted by User Account Control, click Continue.
At the command prompt, type powercfg.exe /hibernate on, and then press Enter.
Type exit, and then press Enter to close the Command Prompt window.
Thanks David for your help. You people always help us to solve our problems and I like this community.
