I have had it with my preinstalled Windows 11 desktop computer. Was forced to repair the computer from scratch as that was my my option. Now that it is up and running, and I have a clone ssd, bootable rescue disk, and data, I have two questions. First, is it safe to install 10 on the computer along side 11? Second, would I be able to boot into both, or would I have to replace 11 altogether? IMHO, 11 still requires plenty of work. Thank you, Mindblower!

Yes, but only on a separate internal drive. I would not advise installing Windows 10 on the same drive as Windows 11. There should be a spare drive bay plus spare SATA connection on the motherboard. If so, connect a secondary internal drive and install Windows 10 on that. From there you can choose which OS to load via the F12 boot menu options.

As explained above; if you install Windows 10 on a separate internal drive you'll be able to boot into either via the F12 boot menu.

Thank you Jim. Believe I would lose all the custom program settings I have with Windows 11. Seems I should just leave things as is and only use this computer on limited tasks, Mindblower!
