Hello everyone. I cannot remove the Bluetooth devices paired on my Windows 10 PC. Whenever I tried removing the Bluetooth Device from the settings, it was coming back after restart. Guys, I din’ know why this happening. Can anyone tell me how to remove Bluetooth devices from my computer? Any help will be appreciated.
Hi Arthurbeck,
Try this:
1. Open your Start menu by pressing the Windows logo key
2. In the search field, type Device Manager and when the results appear, do a double-click on the first one
3. Click on the View tab and then Show hidden devices
4. Now you can uninstall the hidden Bluetooth devices by right-clicking on them and decide Uninstall
5. When you are done with the action, restart your Windows computer
Let us know how that goes for you.
Have you tried running the Bluetooth troubleshooter? Go to Control Panel > Troubleshooting and from the left hand panel click "View all". In the list that appears click Bluetooth to run the troubleshooter.
You could also try removing the Bluetooth device from the Devices and Printers list: Go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth and other devices. Scroll down until you see Related settings, under Related settings click Devices and printers. Right-click on the Bluetooth device in the Devices section and select Remove device.
If neither of those options works, I would suggest running the System File Checker: Open an elevated Command Prompt (Admin), type in sfc /scannow (note the space between "sfc" and the forward slash) and hit Enter.
At the end of the scan you will receive a message inside the Command Prompt window regarding the health of your system files, let us know what that message says.
Thanks for trying to help. I finally found a fix for this from here. I had to uninstall the Bluetooth device from the device manager, as you suggested earlier. After that I needed to clean the registry for any residue keys. I already had the premium version of CCleaner, which fortunately allowed me to clean the registry after uninstalling the device. Now the device does not return after restart.
