Last week my account was hacked, the name was changed and then it was disabled. I follow the help steps and the message I get says the account has been disabled and decision can't be reversed. I've got the same message when I've tried to upload ID. There are no means contacting anyone in Facebook support that I can find. I've had my account nearly 20 years and I manage 5 community/ buisiness pages through it as well. I think it's very unfair that this is not my fault but there seems to be nothing I can do about it. Can anyone help?
Hi James,
Sorry to hear of your troubles. We (DCT) had a similar problem and found it impossible to contact anyone at Facebook for assistance.
Are you able to visit any of the Facebook help pages? I suspect that might be impossible if your account has been disabled?
Hi. Thanks. I can access those links but unfortunately they give no options to recover my account. I just get the message "Your account has been disabled. You can't use Facebook or Messenger because your account, or activity on it, didn't follow our Community Standards. We have already reviewed this decision and it can't be reversed. To learn more about the reasons why we disable accounts, visit the Community Standards."
It seems very unfair when whatever broke community standards was done by whoever hacked my account. I apparently have no recourse whatsoever.
This is the same message we experienced at DCT when we were banned for supposedly/allegedly not following Facebook's community standards. We could not find any way around it.
Facebook does not provide any assistance for these types of issues- there is no human contact at all. Yes, it is extremely unfair but even more unfair when you have no avenue to appeal or defend yourself.
I'm very sorry you are in this position. It's most annoying and frustrating.
I wish you luck, and hope you can find a way around it. I'm sorry we can't be of more help.
