This was a very odd error on a one hour old Win 10/Outlook 2010 install which I had to fix by running sfc /scannow.
IE Outlook simply wouldn't send emails but would receive ok.
Hard to say what the error was, although there is a very long log file as referenced in the scannow image.

I have one ?. Why are you using Outlook 2010 when Thunderbird or Windows Live are more compatible with W10.
I have been using Thunderbird with Gmail for awhile now, yes I have a Hotmail account but it is set to forward to Gmail. I only use the Hotmail account for my Microsoft account login.

I've been using Outlook for years Daniel, ever since Outlook Express in fact.
It's very reliable and I've only had one major breakage, but was backed up.
Clearly this is just a glitch.
I also use Gmail and Hotmail and very occasionally Yahoo mail. Email addresses are disposable nowadays and I may well have used others which I've forgotten about lol.
I really don't like the built in mail with Windows 10 as it's the same app you get on your phone and won't go back further than 30 days. What use is that?
