In Win 10 I received this error msg:
Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window. The set of folders cannot be opened. An unexpected error has occurred. MAPI was unable to load the information service pstprx.dll. Be sure the service is correctly installed and configured.
What does this mean and how do I fix it?
I had my email in Outlook working and one day I tried to open it and got this error.\Help!

Hi Tom, and welcome to the forum.

Have you tried repairing the Office installation?

Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features. From the list of installed programs click on Microsoft Office and from the top menu select Change.

You should now see a screen providing a list of options. Click (enable) the Repair option and then click Continue.

The office installation should now progress through the repair operation and, hopefully, will fix this issue for you (you may need to restart the system).

The repair worked, but now,

I can't send email, it won't sync and on the blue bar across the top it says:

"Outlook (Unlicensed Product)"

How do I renew my license?

Thanks,

Tom

Is your subscription still current or has it expired?

If still current, have you logged back in to your Office account Tom? The repair installation probably logged you out and it may be just a simple matter of logging back in.

Click on the left arrow in the top left of the product, then click on “Office Account”.
Click on “Manage Account” and login to your Office 365 account.

Also, is your system clock set to the correct date and time?
