Can you please explain how I can make a new style in word 2007? In 2003 I could simply modified one and saved it with a new name. So I could keep both the old and the new styles to use. Here the style gets modified and with a new name i seem to lose the original one. I keep using other languages and fonts and previously it was a breeze to make new ones. I am sure there is a way here too, but I am unable to find it so far.

Well, that is exactly how I made it in 2003.
In 2007 could not find it in the ribbon.
But now I opened the style task pane again and searched , and there it was, just an Icon at the bottom of the pane! I was used to have visual Text item! Told you I am dumb! -
