Just wondering if anyones tried out Linux Mint 6 "Felicia" based off of Ibex.
I downloaded the ISO on the first day the stable came out and love it. It has a bunch of new features and its still wonderfully functional. I came from PCLinuxOS to Mint after trying Ubuntu and finding my wireless didn't work. Mint gives me the best of both worlds and Felicia is even more of an improvement on that.
I haven't tried it, but I've heard good things about it.
Just recently I had to reinstall the OS on my work machine, so I made the usual round of Distros: Fedora, Ubuntu, RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux), PC Linux OS, and SUSe. Not one of them was compatible with my video card in dual display mode. So, I went back to Windows til I get a new workstation.
Looks like I have one more to add to the mix next time I have to do that.

Hi Psych - I haven't tried it either....got stuck on Kubuntu, liked it so much I haven't tried any other distro since. BUT, one of my good mates swears by Mint....he had problems with Ubuntu and wireless connection too....tried out Mint, loved it and has been with it ever since.
Thanks for the recommendation,
cheers...JIM
