Having deleted the Windows 10 preview I've ended up with a spare 250gb hard drive on which I'll be installing Linux Mint, for the sole reason of seeing how games and Steam run.
An article will shortly follow.

Linux Mint is a fine distro but I really feel like wine would be easier to configure under Ubuntu. I say this because of the Debian based distros that use the apt-get repositores for updates and program installs.
Either way this will be interesting.

Install from a pen drive was faster than a ferret on heat, remarkable.
Running Mint 17.2 as it looks nice; no other reason.
Installing Wine now.
