Good morning,
I'm a mature[color=#800000:2vwe75q0](old as dirt)[/color:2vwe75q0] PC operative. Love to surf (inet), use my PC for paying bills, news, education, email, hobby (built a modest 386), usually get into trouble with upgrades, but so far it hasn't kept me from trying to get the most performance out of the systems. Oh yes, I have commented in the MP3 forum. Love to collect and listen to older venues of music. User abilities are greater than beginner and somewhere about like knowing how to how to get good and tangled up in things I should keep my hands off. After I retire (soon), I expect to pick up some more tips from Dave's letters and tips. Located in Florida. Just added a DVD burner to the old PE542a. Free Nero can be frustrating but the alternatives seem to be few. Oh yeah, I'm cheap too! jhw
Welcome here, I figure I should just make one comment though on your post. I know this isn't really the place to do it but there are alternatives to Nero such as CDBurnerXP Pro. Total freeware and probably the best burning program out there. I love it and I would recommend it to anyone.
Again, welcome here and I hope you have fun asking and answering questions, I know I have really enjoyed my time here.
Matt
