Hi Folks.
here I have a weird problem
I am a member of several Yahoo Groups and get daily digests. They all have same format. In the beginning there is a list of hyperlinked contents, so just a click takes you to the item, and "back to Top" takes you back. Simple?
It was so far. I use Firefox , and upgraded it from 3.6 to 7. Poof. The links stop working.
I wrote to yahoo also and they responded and we tried many things . nothing worked. went back to 3.6 and all is well.
I tried other browsers too.
Curiously the links work only SOMETIMES in Google Chrome 15.0.874.121 m.
Have just upgraded my rusted IE to 8, and "back to top " link is not working. Though the links from the contents are working.
Then Mozilla kept nagging and I upgraded to FF8, and again the same problem. so am back to 3.6.
My OS is XP pro. and apart from upgrading the Three browsers , I have not added / deleted anything. Oh yes, Yahoo upgraded itself.
So what could be the thing ? apart from this all other mail / links are fine .
I wrote to Mozilla also after uninstalling 7 and now after 8 also. But there is no reply.
If you want I can forward you one digest.
I really like my daily dose and it is really bugging.
Any idea anyone?

Hi!

Sorry for the late reply - I think everyone was waiting to see if anyone else had an answer to this before jumping in.

You mention these are mails you're receiving...but then it depends on your browser version. How are you accessing these mails?

Are you going to Yahoo to read these, or using a different mail solution?

What version of Windows and what Antivirus do you have running?

It is a strange issue, but with a bit of digging, I'm certain we can find the answer...

Thanks for trying
I read them in Yahoo mail only . All other mails are fine, it is just these group digests with many topics. All of them have been getting for at least 4 years.
Browser is now back to FireFox 3.6 which is fine.
If I upgrade to 7 or 8 the links dont work.
They are not working in Chrome and work partly in IE8 - the main hyperlinks work, but those in the middle of mails "back to top" dont.
My OS XP pro since I dont know when. This problem started only when I upgraded FF.
As the mails are long ones with many topics it is a pain to scroll through.
Thanks again

I sent you my email address via private message -- if you'd like to forward one to me I'll take a look and see what I can figure out.

Thanks!
