I really didn't hear much feedback about the new look. So what's your opinion?

What do you think of the new look of the main site? - [url:3kq05ycs]http://www.davescomputertips.com[/url:3kq05ycs]

What do you think of the look of the forum? - [url:3kq05ycs]http://www.davescomputertips.com/forum/[/url:3kq05ycs]

What do you think of the new look of the newsletter? - [url:3kq05ycs]http://www.davescomputertips.com/newsletters/2008/080915.php[/url:3kq05ycs]

Did you like the ability to open larger pictures right in the browser without opening a new page?

Did you like the ability to bookmark, email, and share the newsletter using the link in the footer of each article?

Did you like the new ability to "Return to Contents" at the end of each article?

Do you still enjoy the ability to add your own comments to the articles?

Just looking for some feedback. I spent a huge amount of time getting everything just "so". I wanted each (site, newsletter, and forum) to have a similar, but unique look.

Hi Dave:

I think you hit home run with both the newsletter and the web site. The new forum looks great as well, and I hope it it produces the results that you are looking for. So far the forum seems to be on the right track. You have probably the best newsletter out there and I think the forum will be a reflection on that.

Dave: I had never took a look at the forum side of the DCT but have spent 2 days looking and reading all the catagories. I have really enjoyed everything. Even got a few laughs. Keep up the good work. Ray

Fantastic! I love everything about the new look and new features.

However, I have run into one strange problem. Roboform does not seem to work when logging on to the Forum. To avoid this issue, I tried using the automatic logon setting on the Forum logon page and that would not work either. I tried deleting cookies to see if that was the problem, but still no joy.

I'm running Firefox 3.01 under Win2K SP4 with Roboform 6.9.91.0

Any ideas?

Hee....I just uninstalled Roboform. Very nice software when it decided to work. Not so nice when it decided not to work.

Sxipper and Foxmark sync is what I use now.

However, that is not why you're here (I'm done preaching).

a few questions:

does roboform not prompt you to save your login?
are there error messages?
do you have the ability to select your login/passcard for this site?

Thanks!

Dave -

As you know, I'm probably the newest member of DCT. I'm certainly not qualified to pass any judgement, yay or nay, on the format or contents of this forum but know one thing - I'm enjoying the bejabbers out of this! I can only imagine the time and effort put into its creation. I applaud both you and your staff on a job most professionally done. I thank you.

Richard
