Hey guys!
The last two days I get this error when I tried to go to curezone.com, one of the sites I visit every day:
[b:1ki0yyrw]Microsoft SQL Native Client error '80004005'
The transaction log for database 'm' is full. To find out why space in the log cannot be reused, see the log_reuse_wait_desc column in sys.databases
/LM/W3SVC/2140006449/Root/global.asa, line 344 [/b:1ki0yyrw]
I use Firefox 5.0.1, Win XP. This is the only site that gives me this error. Of course I am clueless on what it means or how to fix it. I opened IE and tried to re-sign in to curezone.com under a new/different nick/password and got the same error! [I thought the 'm' database in the error msg might refer to the first letter of my usual Username on the site.]
I tried to google the error and the answers given on various sites were no hope, way beyond my comprehension!
Can someone here help?
Thanks so much!
Hey Marci - I am far from expert on SQL myself but I believe this issue would be something to do with the site and nothing to do with your computer.
Sounds as though Curezone are using SQL for their databases and the maintenance needs to be performed at their end.
Is there any support on the Curezone site, any contact details or the like where you can report this problem to them?
Cheers...Jim
Yup, they're running on a Microsoft server and using MS SQL (a database program) to manage the content of their site. I'm not an MS SQL expert, but judging by the error it appears that there is no available space on their server in the location where their log files are stored. Should be as simple as deleting the log files in that location, unfortunately the only persons who would be able to do that are the site owner or the hosting provider.
Nothing wrong on your end!
