1) Open Notepad

Had a laugh at the title, and apart from using the script it depends on how well the pc is running, if it's a major pain in the butt it gets called all sorts of unsavoury things, but it is few and far between.. so it's a female and an Angel when all goes well

LOL. I gotta agree with that one mate. My computer is definitely a 'sweetheart' when all is going well, but if it plays up...some of the names it gets called would make a sailor blush!! LOL

Hi,
Coming to this waaaaaaaaaay too late, but I just tried it out and it seems that my Win XP machine is male, while my Win7 one is female.
Would like to know what determines the gender!?
I am human

Whichever voice is included in the OS. Just checked my Win7, the default (and one and only) voice is "Anna" and female. There are options to change the source but one would need to download additional voices for that to be available.
Start>All Programs>Accessories>Ease of Access>Narrator>Preferences>Voice Settings

Mine's female. But I had to listen twice to make sure. Maybe it's gender-identity confused?
