Fading keyboard letters

One of my keyboards, a recent purchase, has several letters which are barely visible. I am presented with two options. Use a Sharpie pen to fill in the white letters, or purchase stick on keys. Not being comfortable with either option, I colour outside the lines and sticking is not in my wheelhouse.

Clearly, replacing the keyboard might be the best alternative solution. Would appreciate comments, especially if someone also faced this issue, Mindblower!

Hi MB!
Buying new keycaps might be an option.
Some keycaps have their letters stamped on their surface. These will wear off after time.
The better option is to get keycaps that have their letters lasered clean through the surface. They are pricier but they never wear off.
Hope this helps,
Richard

Thanks for your help, Richard. 🙂 My keyboard letters also fading and I have recently bought and it is very irritating. Actually, I used to write an essay by taking help from this https://www.topessaywriting.org/samples/hero website. I write essay on my desktop because nowadays, we are studying from home that is why we only use our desktop to write assignments. Because of the fading letters it is hard for me to write my assignments and that is why I am searching for its solution online which I have found in your post.
