Can somebody help me with my avatar. It looks like it shows up fine on the forum posts but it doesn't show up on the blog posts.

Texaco, the reason there is no avatar displayed on comments you've made on the blog is because the forum uses different methods.
The forum allows you to upload your choice of avatar, but by default it uses a service called Gravatar - https://en.gravatar.com/ - which is an abbreviation of Globally Recognized Avatar.
The blog uses the Gravatar feature only and has no idea that you've uploaded an avatar on the forum.
Another cause would be that you've used different email addresses to comment on the blog and register on the forum. In that case Gravatar wouldn't know who you were with the second email address. The solution to this is to add the second email account to your Gravatar account.
The easiest solution is to visit https://en.gravatar.com/ and create a completely free account and upload your avatar there. This will associate your avatar with your email address so that when you comment on any Wordpress blog (or any other site that recognized Gravatar) your avatar will appear automatically.

I did check on that and my gravatar account was created with a different email address than the one I use now and unfortunately you can't change your primary email on the account. I did add the new email address to that account so hopefully that picks it up in the future.
