I have been using 7Zip for years and previously, WinZip. I am adverse to spending money on most Software. Therefore, this would represent an appropriate opportunity [considering the comments I've read about WinRar] to try a new Software !

Hey Dave - I'm a poor retired OLD guy. I love free stuff. Taught Computing for 18 years - that's why I'm poor.

I am a commercial artist who works extensively with many different programs that are usually in a zipped format, so a good zip program is pretty much a necessity. I have used WinZip for many years up until it was sold to Corel, and I can no longer tolerate the program since they took it over, just as they destroyed my favorite paint program, Jasc Paint Shop Pro, Corel seems to ruin every piece of software they buy out...arrrrgh! I surely could use a new versatile zip program.

Another goodie. I use 7zip for one reason and that is because it is free. I would love a copy of WinRar to handle most of my rar files uncompressing. Thanks for the chance

Hi
I am from the England and I have a very old copy of Winzip and have been looking for a replacement and WinRAR would be a great alternative.

I would very much appreciate a free copy of WinRAR. I have used it in the past and would use it again as it was an excellent product when I was using it.
