Hi Jim
Hope you are well and that life is continuing to be good to you!
I was wondering if you would think about doing a step by step guide on the above two items as they seem to be causing a number of problems trying to set them up and getting them running properly.
Failing that can you point me in the direction of something similar that you may have come across on the web. Thanks so much for your help. Always much appreciated.
Kind regards
Gerald

Hi Gerald,

Sorry mate but I am not sure what you mean. What is it you are trying to do?

I'm assuming you're using a VPN and it is not working properly with Outlook mail, is that correct? If so, what sort of issues are you having?

Is that the local Outlook email client (part of Office) or Outlook.com webmail? And what is the name of your VPN?

Cheers... Jim

Hi Jim

Sorry about not being too clear about what I wanted to know.
First of all I would like to use the VPN that comes with Windows 10 but I'm having difficulty setting it up and there doesn't appear to be much help about.
Secondly when it comes to moving to the new MS mail it is Outlook.com that I can't seem to grasp. Probably a simple answer as to how to use a few email accounts that I have been using with WLM and need to transfer to the new mail feature (Outlook).
Hope this helps. And thanks again for your help.

Kind regards
Gerald

No problem Gerald.

To use Windows 10's VPN option properly you'll need access to a server, do you have access to a server?

Here's some further reading which might help: http://www.thewindowsclub.com/set-up-vpn-in-windows-10

Here's a tutorial on how to set up a VPN locally:

Why do you need a VPN, what is it you are trying to achieve?

Still not 100% sure of what you are trying to do with your email.

Have you been syncing an Outlook.com account through Windows Live Mail and that is no longer working?
Are you trying to set up the Mail app in Windows 10?
Or are you trying to access email from several accounts all through Outlook.com?

Hello Jim,

ThewindowsClub is a respectable site. This site helped me to repair corrupt PST file on Windows 10 PC.
After reading this post (http://www.thewindowsclub.com/stellar-pst-viewer-view-damaged-outlook-files ), I had tested the performance of Stellar Phoenix Outlook PST Repair. It was a good experience for me.

Hello Jim,

Last year, I used Stellar Phoenix Outlook PST Repair software to get back missing emails from Outlook 2016 mailbox.

As I know, It is a good alternative of ScanPST.exe.
