USB Safely Remove was very recently promoted by the developers as a time limited giveaway, this time they are offering 10,000 free licenses. So if you missed out last time...hurry!!

'USB Safely Remove' is a USB and SATA external drive manager which was included in PCWorld magazine's "TOP 100 Best Products Of 2008". It helps solve a lot of problems encountered by frequent users of USB and SATA devices...e.g:

* Shows what processes prevent your device from being stopped
* Lets you reactivate your accidentally stopped hotplug device without reconnecting it physically
* Hides drives of empty card reader slots

Plus lots more, read here for full description: http://safelyremove.com/fullFe.....esList.htm

It was nice and FREE while it lasted. I truly like a short time life product. Makes it all the more wonderful. Right?

Hope you can see just how flustering it is to get a slap in the face from the same company which used an old marketing campaign to lure future customers. I pity such a company since they only cut their own throats. They are at version 4.25, and that FREE license is only valid up to version 4.1x So you can probably continue to use the older version (if you have no problems) till HELL freezes.

Had I know this, I'd never have bothered. Yes, it was a good product, much better than the simple one supplied with XP, but I wonder what new features will come with Windows 7 (which I plan on getting in the new year). So for those who signed up to get notices from this company, the tiny fee [b:1un7bg3z]($20.US)[/b:1un7bg3z] they ask for such a simple program amounts to , Mindblower!
