Speech to text - new Chrome feature

The latest release of Google Chrome [11] includes a new feature, known as voice-to-HTML, which converts speech to text. Simply speak into a microphone connected to the PC and the input records as text, the browser then automatically inserts the text into the available form field.

This is a wonderful addition for the disabled and obviously has much wider implications for the anticipated Google OS.

The first step toward a full voice-command based OS perhaps?

Indeed very useful for the disabled. Does it support other languages than English?

Apparently, English only at the moment FD. One can only assume that support for other languages will be expanded over time.
