See what you mean Jim. Suggest a free (forgot to mention) program. I'm sure there are plenty of small programs out there, do not require a large program as it will be a small manual, more screen shots with an explanation for each, Mindblower!

Is it something you want to print out (as in create a physical booklet), post online, or keep saved for your own personal use?
If it's mainly for screenshots then PicPick screen capture and annotating tool would be my suggestion. It's the pick (pun intended) of the free screenshot tools and comes with superior editing features. There is also a portable version available.

You can then copy and paste the screenshots into a document, along with any text you want to add.

Yes and thanks Jim. Did a quick read and d/l the free version as it is for personal use. Not having a colour printer, it will be a digital manual. As this is something I plan on doing later in the year, I am still only processing what needs to be done in my head (nothing down on paper).
