recently I have had problems with several SDHC's. I cannot format...I get a notice that the card is write protected and to unlock the cards. problem is that they are not locked.
I downloaded "SDFormatter" but still cannot format.

Not sure how I missed this, but have you tried to format these "in camera". I mean using the format capability of the camera? It would be interesting to see the results and most camera manufacturers recommend the practice.
