You can update using the in-product updater beginning in the AM Pacific Time Wednesday August 3rd. Following the "read more" link, it takes you to the download.cnet.com page labeled "SuperAntiSpyware Free Edition specifications", where's the changelog for v.5.0.1108. Among the features listed are:

So, don't you think the way it's presented at CNET Downloads, your official partner, is a bid misleading, especially to newcomers to the program?
I'm a user of SuperAntiSpyware Free Edition and think it's a very good on-demand scanner/remover. Misrepresentantion like this is really unnecessary and may be hurting its reputation.

To ALL: Before commenting on any post, users should note the date the post was created. The original is dated August 2, 2011 - 12:50 pm and the second August 2, 2011 - 7:54 pm, that same day. Almost all of the information is a few days short of being 8 years old, meaning it is ancient information. The company may still be around, but the product should of been revised many times by now.
On a different news item, many years ago, it was made obvious that when visiting CNET Downloads, take whatever is mentioned with a grain of salt (as the expression goes). Reviews were out of this world then, and I personally doubt things have improved, imho, Mindblower!
