I know, I know..there are loads of free image editors about but 'RealWorld Paint.COM' does sound well above average.

When it comes to photography I fit well and truly into the 'amateur' category....if someone with a more professional background could take a look at this software and offer an opinion, it would be very much appreciated......[b:evkop3vv]'oldelmerfud', where are you???[/b:evkop3vv]

How about this line from the product web page:
[i:evkop3vv]"Many of its drawing tools and image filters are able to do gamma-aware blending and color gradient interpolation"[/i:evkop3vv].......huh????

RealWorld Paint.COM supports layers and is able to use a vast number of plug-ins available for Adobe Photoshop....not sure what all that means but it is a good thing, yes?

Read all about it here: http://www.rw-designer.com/image-editor

Any and all informed comments welcome,
cheers all.....JIM

this is a lovely piece of software, i use photoshop cs4 on a daily basis which is a program thats only easy when you know it. if you cant be bothered learning it ( which could be both frustrating and mind numbing) then this is the program for you, alot of photo shop;s key tools are included in this.

thanks for this ozbloke

Have to agree with dodester: RWPaint is a terrific solution for those users who aren't prepared for the learning curve of Photoshop. Even the freeware that most nearly matches PS, The GIMP http://www.gimp.org/, is quite a process to master.
My last upgrade was from cs2 to cs3. Since I no longer use it daily, I'll stick with that.
