This is for all users that really want to be able to backup & restore their full system (you really should) using the amazing quality product, [b:2u38jinz]Macrium Reflect[/b:2u38jinz], free edition for personal use only [b:2u38jinz][url:2u38jinz]http://www.macrium.com/reflectfree.asp[/url:2u38jinz][/b:2u38jinz]. I have been using the free version for quite some time now and it has never let me down once and I have restored my PC quite a few times with it. I have always had problems with the top seller "[b:2u38jinz]Acronis True Image[/b:2u38jinz]" as it has far too many options that I would never use and in my opinion is quite bloated and complex to use. I use this free version of Reflect for just the basic needs I would ever need, it is very easy and straight forward to use but if you want many of the options [i:2u38jinz]Acronis[/i:2u38jinz] has to offer (including file backup etc.) you can opt to purchase the Pro version for quite a good price. In a nutshell I use Reflect to do a full system backup to my second hard drive and then I use Microsoft's very own free tool [b:2u38jinz]SyncToy[/b:2u38jinz], [i:2u38jinz]SyncToy 2.1[/i:2u38jinz] is now available for download to backup and synchronise my personal files to my second hard drive) For free software that just does what it says on the tin these are a godsend for anyone on a limited budget.

You can find the software here, should you wish to try it out, you will not be disappointed: [b:2u38jinz][url:2u38jinz]http://www.macrium.com/reflectfree.asp[/url:2u38jinz][/b:2u38jinz]

and for SyncToy: [b:2u38jinz][url:2u38jinz]http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=c26efa36-98e0-4ee9-a7c5-98d0592d8c52&displaylang=en[/url:2u38jinz][/b:2u38jinz]

LoL Do you work for Macrium?

I prefer rsync (Linux) for backups, but have never had problems with Cobian backup either.

Norton Ghost is...interesting, but what I use at work.
