I ran across a free program the other day called "MailStore Home" which is worth a look. The program offers a simple solution for storing email from multiple in-boxes (gmail,yahoo mail etc.) and the ability to search through the archives. .... I was surprised at how fast the search function returned results. For me it's a keeper for sure.
