The folk over at Privacyware have released their previously commercial product PrivateFirewall as freeware!!

Now I have no personal experience with this firewall but it is highly regarded and used to cost $29.95us (I am reliably informed). This is the latest version and is Windows 7 compatible. Complete with HIPS component it sounds very comprehensive and a likely challenger to the top freeware firewalls around.
