I am happy to see some folks will be receiving the latest version of WinRAR for FREE. I had a nice laugh reading why Dave prefers using this product over a freeware product like 7zip. Personally, I rarely need to compress or uncompress any file. Just adding my appreciation on a fine product, like 7zip, Mindblower!

Hey MB - I've had a good look at 7-Zip, I much prefer PeaZip. I'm actually quite impressed you've managed to get your head around 7-Zip's minimalistic and clumsy GUI, I never had the patience. IMO, PeaZip is much more intuitive and easier to use, plus it does a fine job too.

Cheers....Jim

Dave, I hope you know my laughter was not an insult, rather, the praise of a loyal customer. Been there myself, Mindblower!

Heh, that minimalistic GUI (Clumsy? Maybe...) is why I like it so much.

Tried out PeaZip, and cannot see why anyone likes it. 7zip is much easier for me, then again, I grew up using PKZIP, Mindblower!

Yes Zig, but you've got to keep in mind we are not all up to your advanced levels of computering. Some of us need [i:2jkvv2v7]something[/i:2jkvv2v7] to show us the way.

We are all different MB. If we all liked the same things it would be a dull world indeed.
