I have been reading reports this morning (Oz time) that the Rising range of security products have now all been converted to FREEware.

*Rising Anti Virus
*Rising Firewall
*Rising Internet Security (combination AV/Firewall)

All full unlimited editions free forever for personal use.

I haven't been able to confirm that via the vendor's [Rising's] own web site however. Blog writers are linking to a site written in Chinese and instructing readers to just download and install the program/s of choice. The English version of Rising's web site is still offering the products only at a price.

Not doubting the veracity of the information but I will wait until reading the news directly from the Rising people before confirming.

Anyone got any further details??
