Released as 'FortiClient-Standard Edition' this has caused quite a stir around the net, I must admit to having very little knowledge of this developer and their products but initial reaction seems to be quite favourable. There are some obvious advantages in the suite approach to security and this one is certainly quite comprehensive and, by all reports, fairly light on resources too....includes; anti virus and anti spyware engine, personal firewall, intrusion prevention, web filtering, anti rootkit protection, heuristics. Definition updates for the free version are delivered daily.
