dandl. What processor made do you have? If it's AMD, you're safe, from what I've read. Seems it's the Intel brand which has the flaw, and partner M$ is in rescue mode. I'm not convinced any operating is safer if it is a chip problem, since it can bypass prior to starting said o/s, Mindblower!

The more you read about this problem, the deeper you fall down the rabbit hole. People are using old computers, and each year there could be several new chips. Patching that many chips, posses an extraordinary problem. Beside, this discovery is still in the lab, not out in the real world, or is it? And is AMD immune?
