Hey Claw - Yes and no. Provided the AV component in Spyware Terminator is disabled/turned off, it shouldn't cause any conflicts.
That said, I wouldn't really recommend Spyware Terminator, it is reportedly quite heavy on resources and doesn't really add much to the protection already provided by Avast, except for a HIPS component, which can be regarded as either a good thing or a bad thing, depending on the user's level of proficiency.

Thanks Jim, that's all I needed was an honest answer. I was running the free version along side Avast without any problems but I wasn't really sure if it was doing anything except using space and resources, so I uninstalled it until I could get expert opinion, which I just did.
