Is there a device (and what is it called) that can change a flash drive 180 degrees, meaning the left side becomes the right side when inserting it. Thanks, Mindblower!

Hey MB,
If there is such an adapter, I've never come across it. Out of curiosity, why would you need that?
The way I understand it, the fixed USB orientation is to ensure that power flows in only one direction, from the host to the device. Data can flow in both directions but power must be restricted to one direction for safety reasons.

Well Jim, I moved the computer, and am unable to see the light on the USB dongle that connects to the WiFi. A silly thing, but I have grown accustomed to seeing it blink, Mindblower!

No, not silly at all MB. I know exactly what you mean. May I suggest a USB hub, they are not very expensive and the extra lead will allow you place it pretty much wherever you like. It will also provide additional USB connections.
Yes Jim. Same problem exists whether installing onto computer or USB hub. Newer computers already have WiFi built-in. Will have to live not seeing that blinking light, Mindblower!
