I want to upgrade either my cpu or gpu both are running slower but are still ok. I have no programs running in the background or anything similar to that besides discord. I have a 1080 ti gigabyte turbo edition and an i7 8700k with 32 gigs of ram. I have tried many fixes and they just don’t work to get the FPS I would like. Is it worth it to buy a normal 2080 or a 2080 super or should I keep the 1080 ti and upgrade the cpu?

Hi Tarancepil7,
To find CPU/GPU bottlenecks, I use this site: https://pc-builds.com/calculator/
Keep in mind that there are many settings that can affect framerates. It might not be a hardware problem. Software settings are a lot less expensive to "fix".
This should help you decide,
Richard
