I was starting to set up a new desktop. I turned on the computer and found the monitor does not work (I had planned on replacing it soon anyways as it was getting temperamental). I did not take any steps to set up the new computer other than turn it on, other than plugging in mouse, keyboard, the non-working monitor and connecting to internet. I have ordered a new monitor that will be delivered tomorrow. Is it okay for me to turn the computer off until I get the new monitor tomorrow? Thank you.

Hey Dan,
Sorry for the tardy reply, I'm in Australia where the time is upside down. 🙂
It won't hurt anything to power off the computer, you can turn it off until the new monitor arrives and, when you start it up again, it will take you through the setting up process... no problem.
