Yes, I do believe in global warming, but right now, there is nothing warming, just extreme cold. Living in Canada, we expect the Winter season to be a mix of rain, freeing rain and snow and cold weather. Our homes are insulated to help maintain the heat. Recently, we were forced to drive automobiles with 4 winter tires instead of the standard 2. And the 4 season tires, which only lasted one winter season (and became summer tires) are no more. So for us Canadians, we shell out more money due to this Winter season, in clothing, extra food costs, heating, gas to run the car (as one typically needs to idle 5 to 10 min allowing the motor to warm up, and short trips can kill the battery, etc...

But, to hear this polar vortex is travelling so far south into States not prepared for cold temperatures, like below 50 degrees (F), is very disturbing. I have always joked that one can add more clothing to say warm here in Canada, as opposed to keeping cool in the hot summer days were even taking it all off is still too hot (mostly due to the high humidity (100%).

So those who need to brave the cold, and are experiencing this fact for the first time, sadly the hand writing in on the wall (so to speak) and you must prepare yourself for more of the same in the years to come. They call this part of the Global warming effect, were the Summers remain hotter and the Winters get colder. Bundle up if you are going outside, Mindblower!

Global warming is real and it will eventually affect a lot more people. Just wonder how the World, and the different Countries will handle all the chaos.
