I'm in Australia too, Queensland. My results through the DCT Speedcheck are fairly accurate - Ping = 184 ms / Download = 53 Mbps / Upload = 15 Mbps (see attached image)

Ping time is going to be elevated for anyone outside the U.S. because the speed check is through a U.S. server. My normal ping time through a local server is around 10 ms.

Yes, well the ratio of download speed to upload speed is out of whack in those results- 64 Mbps upload to 69 Mbps download cannot be accurate. The Ookla SpeedTest result is also out of whack- upload speed is far too low compared to download speed.

Upload should normally be somewhere between 25-30% of download speed. When running these tests you need to make sure NOTHING else is using the Internet.

Roger (AKA pcbugfixer) - for some strange reason your posts have vanished. No idea why or what happened. We've been experiencing a few issues with the main site (blog) recently but I wouldn't have thought they would impact the Forum.

Very sorry about this. I've made an effort to see if I can locate your missing posts but I'm afraid it's a little above my pay grade.

Can't apologize enough.
