Hi
I know you people are only clever and ingenious ones who can find a solution to my stupid problem as you have done before.
I have bought a very basic Dell with Win 11. It has only a 250 ssd.
I have my old perfect Dell but with w1th Win 10. Its old hardware and cant upgrade.
The new one has 250 ssd only. My old one has 250 ssd plus 1 TB drive as well as I have another 1 TB external.
Is there any way I can work on new DELL with new win 11 but access/ work with files and save on old win 10 dell?
I am a super senior and prefer wire route.
Thanks in advance,

Hi Shobha,
I am going to presume your files are on that 1TB drive in your old Dell.
If your files are on the 1TB drive, and you have an empty drive slot in your new Dell, you can move that drive to your new laptop. You will then have access to those files.
If you don't have a slot in your new Dell, you could copy all the files to your external drive. They would then be accessible by both laptops.
If neither of the above suggestions is helpful to you, I will need more information.
Hope this helps,
Richard
