Ad of the decade!
As part of YouTube’s 10th anniversary celebrations the online video site recently asked its users to vote for their favorite ad over the past decade – and the verdict is in. Voters submitted their preferences in droves and competition was fierce but, in the end, Turkish Airline’s “Kobe vs. Messi: The Selfie Shootout” captured the title of Ad of the Decade.
While the ad wasn’t critically lauded, apparently it has been a massive hit with viewers, chalking up over 140 million views to date, nearly twice the views of any of the other top contenders. <source>
