I was trying to watch a YouTube video from DavesComputerTips.com named How To Find Coupons On Amazon App when I got an error message: An error occurred. Please try again later. (Playback ID: a1K3kfyNeowOXxGB).
The simple fix in my case was to refresh the browser. Press the F5 key on your keyboard or click on the Refresh button. Here is a picture of the refresh button on some common browsers. Notice the theme.
This is my first time experiencing this – only time will tell if it will happen again. So I went online to determine why it happened. Most research seems to suggest it was a DNS error.
If you have this recurring issue, try this:
Flush the DNS Resolver Cache
Type CMD in the search bar. Click on it in the menu when it shows. In the Command Prompt box type the following and hit enter:
ipconfig /flushdns
Try Restarting your modem or router.
Sometimes, rebooting your modem or router will help. And speaking of restarting and rebooting, try it on your computer as well.
If the problem continues, you might have to change your DNS servers.
Type Network Connections in search, click on it and when it opens, right-click on your connection. My connection is Ethernet but this will work for wireless, too. Right-click and click on Properties.
In the box that opens, in my case titled Ethernet Properties, in the list below double-click on Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) or click once to highlight and then click on Properties.
In the bottom section on the General tab, click the dot before Use the following DNS server addresses, type the following:
Your choice:
Google – 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
Cloudflare – 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1
FreeDNS – 45.33.97.5 and 37.235.1.177
OpenDNS – 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220
(Or your favourite DNS servers, which you could list in the comments.)

Try a different browser.
So, all I did after refreshing the page was flush the DNS. If a problem only happens once, usually, nothing to worry about. If it keeps happening, that’s when you start worrying.

Oh yes! I have this every day! Some days it will work, others no joy at all.
Bloody nuisance. Finally, it decides to connect but often slower than dial-up.
I will try some of your suggestions.
Trouble is, I often find the fix just makes it worse.
Interesting that it always solves the issues if I allow it to do all the updates, etc.
Works fine then until the next round.
