NOTE: Scanning the downloaded executable through Virus Total resulted in one flag out of a possible 57. Seeing how 56 out of 57 antivirus engines give the software a clean bill of health, I believe it’s safe to assume that the odd one out would be a false positive. To be doubly sure I scanned the executable locally through Avira and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and both came back 100% clean. I also went through the installation process and the software installs 100% clean with zero bundling or unwanted extras.

    Hi Jim

Can you please confirm that the Greeting card builder is a completely free download? When I downloaded it a short time ago, it said it is a 15 day trial version.
Keep up the good works you guys “rock” . especially the giveaways you give us. Thanks Jim.

    1. Hi Alistair,

Yep, Greeting Card Builder is definitely free. The trial version is converted to the full version by applying the license code that came with the download.

Run the software and look through the menus for anything relating to “Registration” or “Activation”. You should find an option where you can copy and paste the license code you received into a box.

Let me know if you’re still having problems and I’ll check it out more thoroughly and come back with definitive instructions for you.

      Cheers… Jim

  2. License key:GCBV3-01639-0E57E-11C66-04D21
This is the licence code that came with the installer request.
It is invalid according to the Greeting Card website.
I had all sorts of problems trying to get a download.
Currently I have a 15day trial with a watermark across the card.
    Completely useless.
When I went to my Downloads file & opened the file ‘giveaway-pack’, there were 2 small files inside, the greeting card builder & Video to Picture. Opening the Greeting Card Builder showed 2x 1kb text notes, Installer & Licence.
The Installer note had the website of the Greeting Card Builder & the Licence text note had the licence number that I provided above.
When I went to the website to download the software there was no indication that I was only getting a trail version.
That info was not related to me until I tried to use the software.
I put in the licence number & it said it was invalid.
At the beginning of the download process from your link, it wanted to use a zip opening software but since that nolonger comes free on the pc, I don’t have anything that will open zip files.
I don’t trust the freeware versions to be clear of crapware.
Anyway thanks for the offerings of free stuff from time to time. This is the first time have actually got in early enough to take advantage of the offering.

    1. Clissa, I downloaded the software from the link provided and installed it… no problem.

I then applied the license code provided, which is the same as yours so obviously universal, and successfully registered the program… no problem.

Not sure how you’ve messed it up but make sure to copy and paste the license code into the box, don’t type it in, then click the Register button.

  3. Registered successfully with the same code as shown above.
    Software looks great.
No problems with download and registration
    Thanks again, Jim
