I posted an article earlier this week about the Flashback malware that has been causing problems in the Mac world.
Since then, Apple issued a Java security update for this issue.
Yesterday, Apple released an update for Macs that do not have Java installed.
As with the update issued earlier this week for Macs with Java, this Flashback malware removal tool removes the most common variants of the Flashback malware.
If the Flashback malware is found, a message will appear to notify the user that it was found and removed.
In some cases, you may need to restart your computer in order to completely remove the Flashback malware.
This update is for Macs running Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion).
