Like I said, Apple, worry about stability first, new features second.
I’ve updated my iPhone 6 to iOS 8.3. So far, so good. Some users have reported issues related to Touch ID, battery life issues as well as keyboard freezes but I haven’t seen any of these issues on my iPhone.
If you decide to update your device to iOS 8.3, always do a backup first. Then go to Settings –> General –> Software Update –> Install Now. Note that the last option may say ‘Download and Install Now’ if the update hasn’t been downloaded yet.
I’m with you on this. I regret updating to iOS 8 (just updated to 8.3 a couple of days after it was available). Got dropped internet connections (still do), reset back to home screen on some apps and still have slow performance.
BTW, I also noticed that after the update to 8.3, the 5GB of iCloud space is now 1GB. I was backing up on my desktop, but doing some “housekeeping” before updating to 8.3, I backed up to the iCloud (still had 5GB after). After the update, I check Usage and saw the reduction to 1GB. By the same token, there was a reduction in used Storage space after the update.
