Apple did their weekly release of iOS 6.1 (ouch) a few days ago. According to Apple, iOS 6.1.2 “fixes an Exchange calendar bug that could result in increased network activity and reduced battery life.” This is one of two issues that have been identified as problematic in iOS 6.1.
The remaining issue is the ability to get past a locked screen to access the phone, contacts, photos and call logs.
Apple has already released a beta version of iOS 6.1.3 to address this issue so expect to see it waiting to be downloaded to your device very soon.
