Many are using Google Photos to manage their photos. This is very convenient when using a cell phone. When you take a picture it is saved on your phone and uploaded to the Google Photos Cloud. No longer do we have to transfer the images to our PC to view them or print them. When we wanted to send that image to someone via email we thought we had to download the image to our PC first and then include it as an attachment in an email.
This article explains how to take an image you have located in Google Photos and send it in an email without having to download it to the PC.
Open Google Photos, and locate the image/picture.
Click to open the picture in Photos.
Right-click on the picture and select Copy image…
Open the email you are composing and in the body of the email right-click > paste to add the image to the email.
The picture is added to the email without having to download it first to the PC.
Make sure you have included the “To” email address and a Subject, then Send it. Your recipient will see the image when they open their email from you and they will be able to right-click and save the image if desired.
The image you copy does not have to be from Photos. Any image copied to the clipboard can be pasted into an email.
Hope this becomes another useful tool…

The ads warped all over this page makes your article difficult to navigate!
Gawd, the ads are gettin’ relentless…
Hi GordN,
Aside from the side panel, there are generally no more than four ads per article and that depends on the length of the post. Also, they are not irritating flashy ads that might distract from the article which I particularly don’t like. Also, there are no pop-up ads that you have to click in order to move on (the most distasteful of all in my opinion).
In contrast to some sites, DCT is tame by comparison. You must understand that at least some ads are needed in order to pay our writers and to maintain the free-access status of our site. Given that probably 80% of our readers are using ad blockers, it means that is how much potential revenue we are losing to achieve those most basic of goals. Most, if not all the money needed to pay our hosting providers and other overhead is paid out of pocket by Dave himself.
DCT has not increased the number of ads being shown in over a year. In fact, we have even removed some that we found too in-your-face, in our opinion.
Since you are seeing ads, that suggests that you are not using an ad blocker, and for that, we are grateful,
Richard
How do you right click to get Copy and paste on a smart phone?
I found that Google Photos was hanging when I tried sharing a picture via email. I finally traced the problem to what appears to be a bug. Google Photos will not email a picture to the same email account as you are logged in with Google Photos. It worked fine with a different account. Great, now I need two email accounts.
