Last week, I decided to write an article on Amazon Push Notifications. I wanted to stick with this subject and share some more tips to make better use of your Amazon account. If you missed last week’s article, here is the link to it:

Now that we have that out of the way, let’s talk about another tip for this service. Many of us either are Prime members or might have some sort of a subscription/membership base on Amazon. Here are a few that you might be using:
- Amazon Prime
- Amazon Kid +
- Luna +
These are the ones I have dealt with personally. Have you ever wanted to know how to manage these services? From unsubscribing to re-subscribing this will show you how to manage these and where you can find them on the Amazon website and the App. I guess it is time to start this lesson and show you another tip.
How To Manage Amazon Subscriptions
I will show you how to do this on the Amazon website and then on the App.
How To Manage Amazon Subscriptions On Website
Let us start with the website.
Step 1: Open up your favorite web browser and head over to Amazon.com. Once there, sign in to your account.
Step 2: Once you are there, hover your mouse at the top right on Hello (Name). This will bring up a menu where you will want to click on the Memberships & Subscriptions link.
Step 3: After clicking that, you will end up on this screen. Here is where all the memberships and subscriptions reside. The ones you will see first are the active ones. If you look to the right of these, you are given different options to manage them. The options are all different depending on which one you are dealing with:
- Amazon Prime (You can change the card that you use to pay it or click the Prime Membership Settings to get into more detail)
- Amazon Kids + (You can Cancel the Subscription by clicking the button on the right. You can head into the settings from here, too)
- Luna+ (Since I have unsubscribed from that service, it is allowing me to Re-subscribe by clicking that button on the right.)
Those are some examples of what you can do here. You might have noticed that it is showing canceled or expired ones on this screen. To see those, you will need to use the filters at the top.
Step 4: First, let us click the arrow on the View option at the top left. This gives you a few options to filter these:
- Current Subscriptions
- Past Subscriptions
- All Subscriptions
- Available with Prime
I chose the All Subscriptions for my example above. Let us look at the other filter option.
Step 5: Here, they offer a Sort by option to the right of the last one:
- Featured
- Renewal Date: Reverse Chronological Order
- Renewal Date: Chronological Order
- Title: A-Z
Choose the one that you feel will help you find what you are looking for. After that, you can look at step 3 and start managing these.
Step 6: One last thing before we move on. If you go back to the top and hover your mouse again over Hello (Name), you can click the Account option. On the account screen, you can find a section called Memberships and Subscriptions. From that menu, click on Other Subscriptions to get to the memberships and subscriptions screen from Step 3. Done.
Time to head over to our mobile app.
How To Manage Amazon Subscriptions On App
This will be shown using my Motorola Edge Android phone.
Step 1: Find the app on your mobile device and Tap it.
Step 2: Once there, look to the bottom right and tap the 3 horizontal lines. On the menu, Tap Account.
Step 3: You will need to scroll down until you find the Memberships & subscriptions link. Tap it.
Step 4: Here is where these reside on the app. You can do the same things you could do on the website. The only real difference is the buttons are below the items. Let’s tap on the filter at the top right.
Step 5: Here, they give you both the Sort by and Status (View) options you had on the website. Choose the ones you want and the screen should refresh automatically. If it does not, Tap Done at the bottom right corner. I picked All subscriptions as I did on the website.
Step 6: As we did before, look at all the options and start managing these memberships and subscriptions. Done.
Now you know how to do this on the website and the app. Time to share your new knowledge with all your friends and family.
