In earlier posts, you have learned how to delete email in Gmail. That led to more questions and one of them was how do you delete bulk email using Outlook on the web. So, as promised, I am going to tell you how to accomplish that today.
Follow the steps below to learn how:
- Log into Outlook on the web.
- Hover over the checkbox at the top of your email list to select all emails.
- As an alternate, you can hold down your Crtl key while simultaneously clicking individual emails.
- Click Delete.
Should you need to empty your deleted items folder follow these steps:
- Navigate to your Deleted Items folder
- Right-click and select Delete All which will permanently remove your selected emails
For Classic Outlook on the Web:
- Sign in to Outlook on the web.
- At the top of your inbox, above the message list, hover until a check box opens.
- Then, select the check box to highlight the message on your page.
- In the reading pane, select choose Select everything.
- Select Delete. All emails in your inbox will be moved to the Deleted Items folder.
To permanently delete the messages:
- Right-click Deleted Items and select Delete all
Hopefully, this will clear up any questions regarding Outlook on the Web.
