Google’s self-driving cars, of which there are usually a dozen on the roads of California and Nevada at any given time, have now logged 700,000 miles of accident-free autonomous driving. Google has released a new video to demonstrate some of the impressive software improvements implemented over the past couple of years. Most notably, these self-driving cars are now able to track hundreds of objects simultaneously, including; pedestrians, an indicating cyclist, a stop sign held by a crossing guard, and traffic cones. It really is amazing stuff!!
